Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, Ontario city or town and your consent to be contacted about that request. You may also provide a phone number, postal code, equipment interests and a message. We keep a record of the submission time and the consent wording associated with the request.
Our website and infrastructure providers may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as an IP address, browser information, requested page, request time and error information. This is separate from the project details you choose to submit.
Please do not send travel dates, door or alarm codes, account passwords, payment information or camera footage through this form. A city or town is enough to start an enquiry; a full property address is not required at this stage.
How we use your information
We use your enquiry to respond, check installation availability, discuss suitable equipment and prepare or arrange a consultation and quote. If you give us a phone number, we may call you about the request. Otherwise, we respond by email.
We also use necessary technical information to operate the website, prevent spam and misuse, investigate delivery problems and protect the information we receive.
Submitting the form does not subscribe you to promotional emails, texts or calls. We do not use the enquiry form to request payment or access to your home security accounts.
Who receives your information?
People authorized by Phase Up Marketing Inc. may access the details needed to handle your request. Hosting, website security and email providers may process information to support these functions under our instructions.
We do not sell your enquiry details or distribute them to independent companies for their own marketing. If a proposed installation requires disclosure of project or contact details to an installation provider, we will explain who would receive the information and why before making that disclosure, and obtain consent where required. We do not give every prospective supplier access to our enquiries.
We may disclose information where required or permitted by applicable law, including to meet a legal obligation or address a security incident.
Where information is processed
Your enquiry is handled through the website infrastructure and the company’s email systems. Depending on the providers used, information may be processed or stored outside your province or outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of those locations. You can contact us for information about the providers and locations relevant to your enquiry.
How long we keep information
We retain enquiry information for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, prepare a quote, maintain a requested ongoing discussion and meet applicable legal obligations. When it is no longer needed for those purposes, it is deleted or anonymized under our retention procedures. Records relating to an agreed installation may need to be kept separately for the service relationship and applicable recordkeeping requirements.
You can ask us about the retention period that applies to your information. A request to delete information is subject to any records we must lawfully retain.
Your choices and access requests
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent to further contact about your enquiry, or request deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to continue planning or quoting for your project. It does not affect processing already lawfully carried out or records we are required to keep.
